Main directions of work of the Student Government Council of the Uman National University of Horticulture

Sports and Recovery Sector:

Takes care of the physical education of students;

Collaborates with the department of physical education and psychological and pedagogical disciplines in the organization of sports competitions and holidays;

Keeps a register of student-athletes;

Promotes activities of sports sections;

Promotes a healthy lifestyle.

Science and Education Sector:

Coordinates the activities of research groups;

Participates in organizing and conducting student Olympiads at the university level;

Together with the university administration organizes scientific events (conferences, debates, round tables);

Keeps a register of the winners of the Olympiads and the most active participants of various scientific events;

Encourages students to participate in scientific conferences of all levels, etc .;

Conducts performance reviews of groups and faculties by session results;

Maintains a register of excellent students;

Collaborates with scientific societies and circles of educational institutions of the city.

Cultural and educational Sector:

Carries out and establishes cultural and mass work at the university together with the Center for Culture and Education of Students;

Develops and implements cultural events jointly with the University's Center for Culture and Education of students;

Organizes meaningful leisure for students;

Cooperates with other educational institutions and organizations of the city in the field of culture.

Information and Social Research Sector:

Collects, organizes and disseminates information on urban, inter-university and university events;

Conducts sociological research and surveys of university students in order to determine their opinion on a particular issue;

Responsible for the organization and design of student wallpapers, stands, announcements, posters, tickets, invitations, etc .;

Collaborates with the city's local media, the University News.

Sector of employment and vocational guidance:

Development of youth initiatives in the sphere of labor relations;

Ensuring employment and employment of students in their free time;

Promoting youth employment and applying knowledge in the labor market;

Promoting employment for graduates after graduation;

Promoting the harmonious development of a student's personality, developing the skills of a future organizer, manager;
