Charitable Action "Pruning trees"

Charitable action "Pruning Trees" was conducted by teachers and third-year students of the Faculty of Fruit and Vegetable Growing, Ecology and Plant Protection near the House of Veterans (7 Michurin St.). Old orchard trees were pruned.

Rational pruning of trees is an important constituent of agrotechnology complex together with the system of dressing, irrigation and soil management, protection from pests and diseases, which allows regulating the intensity of growth and also affects the quantity and quality of the harvest.
                                                            

Such events should be held annually, and the results will be noticeable in autumn.
