Celebration of International Women's Day was held at the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine

On March 7, 2013, celebration of International Women's Day (March 8) was held at the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine. Uman National University of Horticulture took an active part in it.
At the beginning of the solemn meeting Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine Mykola Prysyazhnyuk warmly congratulated women.

At the celebration there was agricultural fair, where Uman National University of Horticulture presented its products, such as fragrant apples, dried fruit and tasty baked goods.

The visitors of the fair were entertained by musicians of Uman National University of Horticulture.

Everyone, who desired, could taste the wine made at the Department of Technology, Storage and Processing of Fruit and Vegetables of Uman National University of Horticulture.

Autonomous department of Uman National University of Horticulture Talyanky Agrotechnical College was an active participant of the fair too.

Deputy Ministers of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine Mykhailo Chuzhmyr and Aleksander Sen visited the fair.
After the celebration the staff of Uman National University of Horticulture represented by Rector Olena Nepochatenko was awarded with commendation letter of Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine for diligent work and achievements for economic strengthening and prosperity of Ukraine.
