We bow to parents for sons of Ukraine!
Upbringing of students on real life examples is one of the important priorities of Uman National University of Horticulture. Today, when Ukraine is in difficult times of its independence, when the militaries defending its borders, give life for country – sense of patriotism, love of country are exacerbated. The manifestations of these concepts are cognized there, in the zone of antiterrorist operation, where a sip of water and a piece of bread are more valuable than any treasures. At that place soul-searching takes place, right there in the trenches, sacrifice and brotherhood are perceived. About this told, at a meeting with students, those who short time ago lived a peaceful life, and nowadays protect us.
On the initiative of the Student Government Council and a student of the Faculty of Agronomy Mykola Berezovskyi on October 28 in the reading room of the Scientific Library, a meeting with members of military action in the area of ATO was held. All participants saluted Yuriy Barylyuk, Mykola Bilan, Serhiy Timanovskyi, Arthur Vasalatiyi and Serhiy Malyovanyi with cheers. By the way, one of them, Mykola Bilan is a graduate of our University.
Meeting organizer Mykola Berezivskyi introduced everyone who volunteered to serve in Natshvardiya, to perform a sacred duty - to defend Ukraine against the aggressor, because they short time ago returned from the front.
Due to the stories of ATO members, who took part in the hostilities on Mount Karachun, cities Vuglegirsk, Slovyansk, attendees learned about the horrific facts of the war, how volunteers provided them with clothes, footwear and food. The words of gratitude sounded to volunteer headquarters ‘Razom’. With bitterness soldiers mentioned fellow soldiers whom they lost during the attacks of the enemy. They don’t set up as heroes, because obviously went to war, to defend their country, their nation, their families.
The militaries gave answers to all the questions from the students and encouraged them to love their homeland, to be patriotic, because they determine the future of the state.
Ukraine will never drop on knees, because has indestructible spirit of Ukrainian sons, in which - its invincible power! Honor to heroes!
