World Day for Safety and Health at Work
International Labor Organization announced April 28 the World Day for Safety and Health at Work to promote the prevention of occupational accidents and diseases, to focus international attention on emerging trends in the field of occupational safety and health and on the magnitude of work-related injuries, diseases and fatalities worldwide. Every year there are about 270 million of occupational accidents. According to the International Labor Organization about 5,000 people die from occupational accidents and diseases worldwide every day.
On this day, more than one hundred countries around the world organize events aimed at the prevention of occupational accidents and diseases.
On April 17, senior lecturer of the Chair of Applied Engineering and Labor Safety Anatoliy Kyslytsia conducted the brain-ring "Labor safety of agricultural workers", in which students of the Faculty of Management took part. There were two teams: a girl team QLS, headed by the captain Pavlo Bohachyk and Legions, headed by the captain Yaroslav Kolisnyk.
Both teams played very well, showed good knowledge of labor safety. The winner became the team QLS headed by Pavlo Bohachyk.
