Remembering the Chernobyl nuclear disaster

 On April 16, events commemorating the 27 anniversary of Chernobyl disaster that occurred on 26 April 1986 were held in Uman National University of Horticulture.

Mykola Polivoda, the 1 category liquidator of the Chernobyl disaster, who was awarded with the Order of Merit for the Fatherland for bold and decisive action during the liquidation, a veteran of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the head of the Board of Veterans came to the meeting with students. He spoke about the causes and scale of the accident, its harmful consequences and the current state of the Chernobyl exclusion zone.

Years pass, but we will forever remember those courageous people, who participated in the liquidation of Chernobyl nuclear disaster consequences.
