Scientific and practical conference "Introduction of Innovative Technologies of Growing Vegetables in Production"

On March 25, 2013 scientific and practical conference “Introduction of Innovative Technologies of Growing Vegetables in Production” was held at the Chair of Vegetable-growing. The conference was attended by leading vegetable seed companies such as Nunhems, LLC Bayer, which introduced assortment of greenhouse cucumbers and tomatoes. Representatives of private enterprise BTU-CENTER and Co ltd Cherkasybiozahyst spoke about the use of new biological preparations in vegetable-growing. Speakers from MaxiMarin Private Business and Scientific and Production Centre with IT offered to use their products MaxiMarin to protect vegetables from unstable moisturizing.

The head of Arable-Farming Department of Cherkasy Regional State Administration V.O. Kharchenko and head of the Chair of Vegetable-growing, Doctor of agricultural sciences, Professor O.I. Ulianych presented the program of vegetable-growing development in Cherkasy Region by 2020. Assistant professors Z.I. Kovtonyuk and G.Y.Slobodyanyk made producers suggestions about pears growing technologies and spoke about the peculiarities of industrial floriculture. The conference was also attended by farmers from different regions of Ukraine, lecturers and students.
