The scientific-practical conference “Improving the efficiency of resource saving technologies on grain processing enterprises” started its work
On the 24th of October in Uman National University of Horticulture started its work the scientific-practical conference “Improving the efficiency of resource saving technologies on grain processing enterprises”, the initiator of which became the lecturers of the Department of Technology of Grain Storage and Processing of Engineering and Technology Faculty. Aesthetically decorated the 170th auditorium warmly opened its doors to the participants of the conference. On the exhibition tables, decorated with Ukrainian towels, - cornucopia, “korovay” with red guelder bunches, apples, flowers, samples of different varieties of crops and extruded products.
The conference was attended by representatives of the National University of Food Technologies, representatives of firms “Byuller”, “Acta”, LLC “Olis”, KTV PAT “Khorol Mechanical Factory”, " DNVK “Kyiv Institute of Automatics” and staffing specialists of bakery products system. Uman National University of Horticulture was represented by Doctor of Agricultural Sciences, Professor, Head of Department of Technology of Grain Storage and Processing Nina Osokina, Doctor of Biological Sciences Fedir Pariy, Doctor of Agricultural Sciences, Professor Grygoriy Hospodarenko and lecturer of Department of Technology of Grain Storage and Processing Volodymyr Yaroshenko.
The conference was opened by Nina Osokina, Doctor of Agricultural Sciences, Professor, Head of the Department of Technology of Grain Storage and Processing, who presented the topical directions of its work and introduced to the audience guests.
On behalf of the administration of the university greeted the audience Vice Rector of Research and Innovation Activity, Doctor of Agricultural Sciences, Professor Viktor Karpenko, who in his speech congratulated the scientists in the walls of the oldest educational institution of Ukraine, he made a brief excursus into the historical past of the university, noting that since olden times it was known for its processing of fruits, vegetables and berries.
Viktor Petrovych added that processing industry is young, but very perspective. As the conclusion of his speech, he wished the participants of conference a lot of new ideas, fruitful decisions and their implementation in practice in the future.
Continued the work of the scientific-practical conference Nina Maksymivna who voiced the main problems put to the consideration of participants:
- reducing expenses during drying grain;
- designing of elevators;
- the study of technological properties of grain;
- modernization of flour milling complex;
- direction of mixed fodder production;
- problem of labor protection and others.
Сonsidering the situation and work of grain processing industry of Ukraine and high qualification of preparation and practical experience of specialists during the discussion of results of the conference, scientists of the processing industry proposed the optimal solutions for the processing and storage of grain, based on scientifically substantiated development on the enterprises of Ukraine.
