Seminar for trainers on developing the ASC
November 20-21, 2013 on the basis of SI “SMC Ahroosvita” was held a seminar for trainers on the development of agricultural service cooperatives (ASC), which was attended by representatives from 18 regional training and practical centers of rural development (RTPC). As trainers acted new lecturers who are experts in accounting and finance.
In this event participated trainers of Interregional Training and Practical Center of Rural Development of Uman National University of Horticulture: Candidate of Economic Sciences, Assistant Professor of The Department of Accounting and Audit Lesya Pankratova and Candidate of Economic Sciences, Senior Lecturer of Department of Management of Organizations Olena Sakovska.
Coordinator of the seminar was Vasyl’ Kononenko, who in his speech told about the problem issues on the creation and activity of agricultural service cooperatives. The participants of the seminar were trainers of regional training and practical centers of rural development of all agricultural universities in Ukraine, leading scientists, economists-agrarians and practices. During the meeting, the participants exchanged their experiences of centers activity, discussed problems and ways of solution that arise in the course of their functioning.
A famous scientist economist-agrarian, Doctor of Economic Sciences, Professor Lyubov Moldavan spoke on existing models of creation and activity of agricultural service cooperatives, definition of system problems and advantages.
About practical basics of accounting and audit in agricultural service cooperatives told Nataliya Medyanyk, regional advisor on accounting and taxation of “Agricultural Advisory Service”.
Interesting and useful information was provided by experts in accounting and finance of IAO “Dobrobut Hromad” Oksana Vasylenko and Lyudmyla Hrekova. They explained the procedures of organization activity and features of accounting, material means, which are provided to co-operatives by sponsors, as well as the process of establishing reports in ASC, supported by organization.
After finishing the training-practical seminar, representatives of regional training and practical centers who are specialists both of the ASC activities and accounting, were granted with certificates. Next year will be held new trainings on improving the skills of trainers, learning and sharing experience, etc.
