The Creative Report of Uman Region Amateur Collectives

Lately on Uman land, an event of a great beauty was conducted: creative report of amateur collectives of Uman district and Uman city. Municipal House of Culture barely contained all interested to enjoy excellent exhibition and wonderful performances of creative collectives. The guests and participants of the festival were greeted by Heads of district and city Yuriy Bodrov and Anatoliy Petrenko.

Mayor Yuriy Bodrov said that creative report of amateur collectives of “Umanshchyna” dedicated to the 200th anniversary of the birth of T.G. Shevchenko and to the 60th anniversary of the formation of Cherkasy Region. Yuriy Ivanovych emphasized that “Cherkassy region - the soul, the heart of the state. We are proud of the fact that we are countrymen of Shevchenko”.

To the greeting of Mayor joined Head of Uman District State Administration Anatoliy Petrenko, who on behalf of the residents of Uman welcomed the participants on the occasion and wished them peace, good,God's blessing and said that the Uman region – is the best, the most powerful, famous for hardworking people. From residents of Uman, Anatoliy Petrenko presented to the regional museum of the town a picture with national motives.

Concert program of creative collectives of Uman district was opened by a national amateur dance ensemble “Nyvka” of Uman NUH (artistic director Nataliya Shapovalenko) with choreographic composition “Pryvital’na” during which ukrainian girls hospitably treated the audience in the hall with fragrant loaf.

The festive program of performances continued creative collectives of the city. An ensemble of trumpeters of Uman Regional Music School named after P. Demutskyy informed about the beginning of concert. Choreographic composition " On Cherkasy land, towels are blooming" was full of ukrainian national motifs and colors, which was in the performance of the national amateur dance ensemble “Nyvka” of Uman NUH accompanied by the orchestra of folk instruments of Uman Regional Music School named after P. Demutskyy.

Stormy applause and standing ovation from the audience caused a performance of the song “Native Land” by the teacher of Uman Regional Music School named after P. Demutskyy Maryna Bilokon’ to the words of our countryman Serhiy Zheleznyak , ukrainian folk songs of male vocal trio “Honta”, dance compositions of dance ensembles “Vizavi”, “Yavoryna” of Uman State Pedagogical University named after Pavlo Tychyna. A flurry of positive emotions caused “Waltz of Flowers” performed by dance ensemble “Nyvka”of Uman NUH.

“Prayer for Ukraine” became the final chord of the event, a leitmotif of which became the words: “My sunshiny Ukraine, I wish you happiness, glorious years!”.
