Participation of representatives of our university in journalist contest

On June 7, Uman National University of Horticulture hosted the second journalism festival Uman-MEDIA-Master-2013 conducted by television company Uman.

   Director of the television company Uman, head of the organizing committee of the festival Olexander Solop said the opening speech.

   Journalists from Cherkasy region had the possibility to take part in the master class conducted by the head of the department of press and publishing of the Institute of advanced studies of television, radio and press, well-known historian and journalist, chief editor of Euroatlanica, expert of the Institute for Euro-Atlantic Cooperation and the Fund Democratic Initiatives, jury chairman Vitaliy Dovgych.

  Representatives of Uman National University of Horticulture participated in the contest and received diplomas in such categories:
   - "Print media. Image Project" - Nadia Zubova, methodologist of the Centre for Culture and Education;
   - "Image project" - Dmytro Makogonenko, programmer of Computer Center for a series of programs about the university;
   - "Image project" - Valeriy Makarov, head of the university photo laboratory for a series of historical and cultural programs.
