International Agreements on Cooperation
On the 2nd-3rd of December, 2013 with the assistance of the President of the Cherkasy Commerce and Industry Chamber Sergiy Pershyn and Ukrainian Embassy in Poland, a working visit of representatives of universities of Cherkashchyna to Warsaw was conducted. The delegation was attended by representatives of Uman National University of Horticulture - the First Vice-Rector Ivan Mostov'yak and Head of International Relations Department Vitaliy Rybchak.
The purpose of the trip was to establish friendly relations and signing cooperation agreements between Uman NUH and universities in Poland. Meeting with representatives of the Polish party was held with the assistance of the First Secretary of the Ukrainian Embassy in Poland Svitlana Myronchuk.
December 2, the participants of delegation of Uman NUH met with Vice-Rector of Warsaw University Alec Novak, Dean of the Faculty of Economics, Professor Stanislaw Kubyelas, Dean of the Faculty of Management, Professor Ian Turyna, Head of International Cooperation Department, Master Silvia Salamon and Deputy Director of the Center of Biological and Chemical Sciences, Master Krzysztof Golas. As a result of business negotiations, an agreement on cooperation between Uman National University of Horticulture and Warsaw University was signed, under which universities will exchange students, lecturers and academic staff, will participate in joint seminars, conferences and congresses, joint research projects; exchange in the sphere of culture and other activities which correspond to the interests of both parties.
December 3 delegation of Uman NUH visited Higher School of Management in Warsaw. A warm and friendly meeting with President of the Higher School of Management in Warsaw, Professor Stanislaw Davidzhyuk, Rector Pavel Chernetskyy and President of Society of Cooperation Poland - East Joseph Brill ended with signing of a Agreement on Cooperation. The agreement provides for the exchange in the field of academic cooperation, exchange of students, lecturers and academic staff, implementation of joint research projects, conducting lectures and organizing symposia.
So Uman NUH continues international development and reaches new heights in raising the level of students’ education.
