Observance of the International Day of Disabled Persons

In the research library of Uman National University of Horticulture for the first-year students of all faculties was held educational hour "Lesson of Kindness" held under the emblem of the Red Cross Society.

 Valentyna Andriivna in her speech informed the audience about the statistics of the major diseases of our time - AIDS , tuberculosis and syphilis, she encouraged youth to nurture a culture of attitude to alcohol and tobacco. Head of the Red Cross Society  wished the student audience to be happy from charity cases, because goodness - the highest value in life.

 Head of the student government council Yuriy Melnyk said that university students make their contribution to the good deeds conducting a variety of charities, including the campaign "Give a child a toy", blood donation, visiting children in orphanage on St. Nicholas Day, informational-educational campaigns "Stop AIDS together" to combat AIDS.

We need to break the stereotypes of our behavior and do everything for disabled people for comfortable living in society. At all times, were appreciated the best human qualities such as: compassion, humanity, honesty, ability to empathize.
