“Life – is beautiful and you – are its creator”

October 29, 2013 in the reading room of Uman National University of Horticulture was held a meeting with first-year students on theme “Life – is beautiful and you – are its creator!” planned and organized by psychological service with the assistance of Vice Deans on educational work of the Faculty of Horticulture, Environment and Plant Protection Anna Slon’ and Engineering and Technology Faculty Yuliya Zhmudenko.

Practical psychologist Halyna Minchenko told students about the concept  “life”, its uniqueness, value, significance for each individual, freshmen were urged to reflect on important life issues, attitude to their own lives and lives of other people as to the highest value. During the performance, psychologist proved the students necessity of cultivation in themselves of such feelings as kindness, honesty, hard working, responsibility, tolerance, love of people, of their native land. Participants were focused on the need of developing curiosity, interest in life, in the future profession, aspiration to find out, to prove, to imagne. She commented on the necessity of development the ability of  forming valuable judgments about harmonious life; told about the life of a human-legend Nick Vuychych, about the testament for youth of Mother Teresa; gave practical advices how to bring up persistence in achieving life goals.
