Faculty of Economics and Entrepreneurship

The Faculty of Economics and Business, established in August 1999, dates back to the transformation of the Main School of Horticulture into the Uman School of Agriculture and Horticulture. It was then, at the initiative of the Candidate of Sciences, State Advisor P. Zagorsky began to teach the course of agricultural economics. Since 1878 the discipline "Accounting" has been introduced.

Training of economic specialists was started at the Uman Agricultural Institute in 1976 with the establishment of the Faculty of Economics. And the new economic conditions of an independent Ukraine, the transition to a market economy, the need to train specialists able to navigate the mazes of entrepreneurship freely, overcome all economic obstacles contributed to the further transformation of the Faculty of Economics and the creation of the Faculty of Economics and Business on its basis.
